Bread Pudding

Ingredients:
1 loaf of my brown sugar cinnamon sourdough, cubed (brioche or french bread work well)
2 cups whole milk
1 cup cream
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
8 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Butter for greasing the pan and 3 tablespoons of butter for sitting on the top before baking
Method:
Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl. Slice the bread into cubes. Butter a 9x13 pan and add the bread and the rest of the ingredients. Press the bread down so it’ll absorb the liquid. Dot the top with butter cut into 1/4 inch cubes. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. It should have a slight jiggle and be golden brown.
