Sourdough Discard Waffles


Ingredients:


1 cup sourdough discard

1 1/2 cups milk

1 tablespoon vinegar

2 eggs

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

4 tablespoons melted butter


Method:


Combine the milk and vinegar and let it sit for a minute. Add discard, milk and vinegar, eggs, vanilla, sugar, salt and baking soda to a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add flour and mix until just combined. Add the melted butter and whisk again. Cook in a heated waffle maker brushed with butter until golden.
