Ingredients:
1 cup active sourdough start
1 cup cottage cheese
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons everything but the bagel seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups flour
*if you’d like to make this with yeast instead of sourdough, use 2 teaspoons of yeast + 1/2 cup water instead. You may need a few extra tablespoons of flour.
Method:
Combine everything but the flour in the bowl of a mixer using the dough hook. Add the flour and mix until smooth, about 3 minutes. Form the dough into a ball and place in a medium bowl that is lightly coated in oil. Cover and let the dough rise until it is doubled in size.
Dump the dough onto a lightly floured surface and form into a loaf shape. Place in a parchment lined bread tin. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake the dough for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown. Brush with butter when it comes out of the oven. Cool and slice!
