Ingredients:
1 Brie cheese wheel
1 sheet of puff pastry
1 egg for egg wash
turbinado sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
honey for drizzling
apples for dipping
Method:
Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions. Dust a flat surface with flour and roll out a sheet of pastry 1-2 inches larger than the original size. Dust off excess flour. Place the cheese in the center and gently wrap the cheese. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pastry is deep golden brown. Add the walnuts to a sheet pan and roast in the oven for the last 10 minutes of baking time. Make sure they don't burn. Drizzle the top of the pastry with honey and sprinkle walnuts over the top. Slice and scoop up with apples. Delicious!
